Insurance companies are responsible to you, the policyholder, not to the doctor. As a courtesy to you, our office will file your claims to your insurance company as long as we accept an agreement with your insurance company. However, we do not determine the amount of coverage you will receive. Your insurance company determines the amount of your coverage and you should be aware of your benefits prior to all office visits. Any questions you may have concerning your insurance benefits should be directed to your insurance representative.
It is the policy of Garner Internal Medicine, P.C. that payment is due at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, our office accepts cash, credit cards and personal checks. If extenuating circumstances exist, alternative payment plans must be discussed in advance with the Billing Department. Fees charged in this office are comparable to those charged by other Internal Medicine physicians in this area.
The following is the list of insurances with which we currently participate. If your insurance is not listed, it maybe a commercial plan that does not require us to have a direct contract. If you are unsure, you may contact your insurance company to find out if they require you to see a network physician and if we are listed as participating. In all cases, we file insurance claims as a courtesy for our patients. Patients are required to pay any patient deductibles and/or coinsurances at the time of service as per our financial policy.
